About the Exhibit

Mapping the Body: Poetry & Anatomical Art, is an innovative, interdisciplinary, student-led free exhibit, showing at the Health Sciences Library Gallery (CU Anschutz) from February 5th – March 30th.

This exhibit features original artwork from Modern Human Anatomy Program affiliates from CU Anschutz, paired with original poetry written by creative writing students from CU Denver. The exhibit kicks off with an Opening Reception February 8th from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Gallery, which will include poetry readings, commemorative chapbooks, and light refreshments.

This exhibit has been awarded a University of Colorado President’s Fund for the Humanities grant, and we’re very excited about it’s potential to shed new light on the complementary nature of scientific and artistic modes of inquiry.
